So far that is the only universe Cordy has, but if you are interested in having a universe with her, mun and muse are both open to ideas. Can be canon, post-canon (though I have not read any of the comics), crossover, or whatever. Just drop us a line here. Her stomach was in a knot as they sat in the back of the taxi that was sitting idle outside the Los Angeles Airport. Her head resting on his shoulder, she sighed softly. In less than an hour, he would be gone again, and she wasn't looking forward to it.

Cordelia knew they both had plenty of work ahead of them, and knew rationally he had to go back to Kansas, just as she knew she had to stay in L.A.

Cordelia glanced at Zod over her shoulder as she added chocolate sauce to the coffee and ice for the frapuccino she was making him, as she'd promised. She smiled as she found him watching her and then went back to what she was doing.

"Do you still want to try and figure out that Blackberry?" she asked, offering him a smile.

She sat silently beside him in the back of the car, which was parked outside the Metropolis Airport. Her heart felt heavy as she stared blankly out the window, her head resting against his shoulder. Her flight was leaving in just a couple of short hours, and while she'd enjoyed their time together immensely, she didn't really want to leave.

But real life was calling once more. She was needed in L.A.

Cordelia needed this trip badly. With everything that had happened in the last few days, she was feeling overwhelmed trying to deal with it all. She needed to see a familiar face. She was glad to be off the plane as she made her way through the airport, collecting her suitcase from the baggage claim.

Then she looked around warily for the major.
